Gabriel Morris was born in Vancouver, Canada and raised in rural Northern California. He has lived in Alaska, Hawaii, and Oregon, and traveled the world. He is an outdoors enthusiast, cultural explorer, and spiritual seeker with a BA in Religious Studies and a thirst for adventure. He is featured with original stories in the hitchhiking travel compilations No Such Thing as a Free Ride?, No Such Thing as a Free Ride? North American Edition, and The Hitchers of Oz.
